Spadeworks was set up in the year 2006 with the sole purpose pf providing high quality, reliable, transparent and ethical sourcing to our customers. Located in Chennai, India, We remain even more committed to these goals today than ever before. Our team has a collective experience of over 150 years in apparel manufacturing, merchandising, fabrics, quality control and logistics. The founder himself has an experience of 28 years in the apparel industry having been the CEO of one of the largest publicly listed apparel manufacturers in India prior to starting Spadeworks, with extensive expertise in servicing European and American brands.

TRANSPARENCY
While we are in the midst of testing the block chain traceability platform that will go live in early 2022, the platform is not a beginning in transparent sourcing. It is only a natural progression towards an automated and efficient transparent process.
All of Spadeworks’ business have the highest levels of transparency for our customers. Even before “ WHO MADE YOUR CLOTHES” became a universal campaign, all our customers always knew who made theirs. Information on supply chain, manufacturing companies, compliance updates for every style are provided to our customers. Customers have visibility over all styles in every order, every season. We encourage our customers to visit factories in order to get a first hand understanding of the quality of our supply chain partners. Needless to say they are one of the highest in the industry.
Again, as a matter of policy and principle, NONE of our orders are sub-contracted to non-approved and non-compliant factories.
QUALITY CONTROL
Spadeworks’ quality standard is one of the highest in the industry. Our shipments over the last 15 years are a testament to that fact.
Spadeworks does all of the quality control for our customers. From sample inspections, to in-line inspections and final bulk goods inspection. All inspection reports are forwarded to our customers for their reference.
AQL 2.5 is the standard followed for all programs in general. Smaller quantities go through a 100% inspection
